BUILDING MOMENTUM THROUGH COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The Wauneta Co-op Grocery Store project continues to move forward thanks to the encouragement and support of community members both near and far.

Over the past several months, the board has spent significant time researching cooperative grocery models, building financial projections, speaking with other Nebraska co-ops, and laying the groundwork needed to create a sustainable path forward.

As conversations around stock ownership and community investment begin, we’ve been encouraged by the number of people interested in helping bring this project to life.

There are several ways community members can support the project, including:

• Purchasing Common or Preferred Stock

• Making a donation

• Attending community meetings

• Joining the newsletter

• Helping spread the word

Every conversation, contribution, and show of support helps move this vision one step closer to reality.

This project truly belongs to the community, and we’re excited to continue building something meaningful together.
